Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By engaging BotondTill for website development or related services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. These terms constitute a legally binding agreement under Hungarian law (Polgári Törvénykönyv - Ptk.) and govern the relationship between the service provider (BotondTill) and the client.

2. Services Provided

BotondTill offers the following services:

• Custom website design and development
• E-commerce solutions and web applications
• Custom web systems, automation, and API integrations
• Website maintenance and updates

3. Payment Terms

All projects follow a structured payment schedule:

• Initial Deposit (30-50%): Required before work begins. Non-refundable once work has commenced.
• Milestone Payment (25-40%): Due upon approval of design mockups or agreed milestones.
• Final Payment (20-30%): Due upon project completion before final delivery and deployment.

4. Cancellation and Refund Policy

This policy complies with Hungarian consumer protection law. Before work begins: 100% refund of deposit if cancelled before development starts. During development: 50% refund of remaining balance; completed work charged at full rate. After approval near completion: only 15% of final payment refundable if work is 80%+ complete. IMPORTANT: Once final work is approved in writing, the project is complete and no refunds are issued.

5. Client Approval and Changes

Clients receive approval checkpoints throughout the project. Additional changes beyond agreed scope are subject to additional fees. Major revisions after final approval may require a new agreement.

6. Intellectual Property Rights

Upon full payment, the client receives rights to design, content, and code developed for their project. BotondTill retains rights to pre-existing frameworks and may showcase the project in portfolio materials unless otherwise agreed in writing.

7. Timeline and Delays

Timelines are estimates and depend on client feedback and content delivery. BotondTill is not liable for delays outside our control.

8. Limitation of Liability

BotondTill's total liability shall not exceed the amount paid for the specific project. We are not responsible for indirect or consequential damages.

9. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These terms are governed by Hungarian law. Disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Budapest, Hungary.

10. Agreement and Acceptance

By submitting a project inquiry or making a payment, you agree to these Terms of Service. Electronic acceptance via our contact form constitutes a binding agreement.
